I am a 21 year old College Senior. I can make that statement boldy because I am pretty sure that at my last birthday I turned 20, so therefore by process of elimination I am 21. Obviously this causes some confusion, mostly for me because I cant remember turning 18...
I am a Japanese Studies Major and a Film Studies Minor. You may be asking yourself things like "Japanese? What are you thinking!" or "Japanese and Film... you are a loser!" Well Yeah I think the same thing too some days. Japanese because Anime is the only thing to ever hold my attention for more than a week and Film because I was becoming bored with the simplicity of my college workload and decided I needed to feel like I was accomplishing something... I mean besides playing video games.

I was President of the College Japan Club and Leader of the Japan House. Yes, all that and I am not even Japanese. I took power in the Japan Club my Freshman year because no one else was doing anything to make it any better. In my blind furious scramble to be in charge I forgot the important things, like who I was in charge of. Well at first it was like 5 people, but nots its about 25, that and the Japanese Studies House, which I founded and lead for a while, has 11 people living in it. I keep busy.

After reading some of Haruki Murakami's stuff in my Japanese Literature class I was inspired to write, he has definately influenced me a great deal. I love the way he writes and weaves his stories, this is primarily why my "Tokyo Domain" is done from a first person perspective. If you have a chance to, check out some of Murakami's works. I suggest "Hard Boiled Wonderland, and the End of the World."

I am a huge Anime fan. Isn't it obvious? My favorite Anime has always been "Macross" I could list all of the other Anime I like but that would take forever. Great Teacher Onizuka has also had a definte impact on my life, it has inspired me to go out and persue life ot its fullest, and be happy with whatever I do in life. Kentaro Oe from "Golden Boy" has also been an inspiration to me. Now I find myself learing alot about the world. Life is a process, learn from it. I often tell my professors now "I dont care what grade I get, I am here to learn, so if I learn Im happy, and if I dont learn anything well... Ill drop your class." Its always a surprise to the proffessors at good ol G'burg, mostly considering the fact that they just give everyone a B+ even if they dont show up.

From shows like GTO and Golden Boy I was inspired to try to write my "Captain Tokyo" Peice, though its taking a back seat to all my other literary endeavours. I might try to sell the idea to Marvel though... Just have to copyright it first.

I was born a Navy brat, so here I am 15 moves and 20 schools later a very diverse man. I like to think of myself as the master of many skills, mostly because I cant keep my attention on any one thing past saturday nights. I have about a hundred or so 90 finished videogames in a binder in my room begging to be played, but I answer not thier siren songs! So I tend to keep at things for a while then give up once its too easy or Ive gotten everything I could out of it.

The story Tokyo Domain is actually based largerly on my life, if you are at all interested. Most of the protagonists flashbacks and memories are from my actual everyday life, and I really would hate to give away any plot points for those of you that actually care to understand the man as a character.

So I will slave my summers away forever in my office job scribbling notes on literary masterpeices to be, and study Asian languages all school year perhaps, or not, acting on the 200 pages of notes crammed in the bottom drawer of my desk.
